Having decided an evening of live musical entertainment for your wedding
reception, you will need to engage a professional mannered, competent and
reliable band, the choice is every bit as important to the success of your
wedding as a good caterer, venue or photographer.
So What Band.. will provide
you Disco
or no disco we will be at the venue for at least 6 hours.( We can provide you
with a full disco with an experienced DJ if required. ) In addition
playing the night, beforehand we will also survey the venue to ensure that
the venue will be prepared for us and if you do decide to include a disco,
we will liase with the hotel to ensure they know our requirements with
regards sharing space etc.. A bit more about us A live band at a
Wedding function adds a truly exciting dimension to the loud disco that
has been the common form for the past decade, many couple are now making
sure that their evenings entertainment is special and a night to remember,
to this aim booking a live band is an excellent choice and well done for
considering this. SoWhat is a professional disco 70 / 80 / 90's band, our
public address (PA) system was specially chosen for its full (not harsh)
sound range and the stage lighting, musical material, dress code has
developed following research to match our target audience i.e. wedding and
corporate events. I hope you will feel assured that SoWhat are the right
band for your evenings entertainment. When playing wedding evenings we
appreciate the wide age diversity one normally associates within a large
group of friends and family, to this aim we play a mixed variety of music
which we know will hit the spot for most of the audience. (see our Song

Volume will not be an issue as we have a keen awareness that being "too
loud" certainly spoils the evening for many of your guests who often find
the evening a rare opportunity to catch up with old friends and family.
Dress code is an important matter; we can wear either formal suit with bow
tie or alternately a more colourful co-ordinate attire which looks great
under stage lighting. Rest assured on your special occasion, with the
lights down and the music playing you can feel comfortable in leaving us
to direct the entertainment for your special night.
We often arrange "spot prizes", we find the audience participation
enthuses a "party" atmosphere and gets people on the floor, quite often
this starts the "dancers" in the audience and the night turns into a great
night for all concerned (band included), The presents would be supplied
beforehand by yourself with an indication as to whom they would be best
matched i.e. male or female, they would also be tagged with compliments
slip signed by the bride and groom. The present types are of your own
choosing but the funnier the better. I hope this will give you the
confidence to trust us with this important night. |
